STAPLES Center has been the key sporting arena in Southern California since opening its doors in 1999. It is next to the Los Angeles Convention Center, and likewise next to the L.A. Live. expansion. It is home to the L.A. Lakers and the L.A. Clippers, as well as the L.A. Kings, and the Sparks of the Women’s National Basketball Association. Additionally, it is the only sports arena in the NBA shared by two leagues, and also one of only two professional sports sites to host two teams from the same league.

STAPLES Center is located at 1111 S. Figueroa Avenue in the Downtown area of Los Angeles. A number of transportation solutions to STAPLES Center are available, including the Metro Bus and Rail, DASH, Metrolink and AMTRAK.
